What This Website Collects

This website has no accounts and no comment features, and it sets no cookies of its own. It does not run analytics or advertising scripts. The one form on the site is the contact form on the Contact page.

The web host that serves the pages may keep standard server logs, such as the address a request came from and the page requested, for security and operational purposes.

The text on every page uses fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font stylesheet and font files from Google’s servers at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. If we later add analytics or other third-party tools, we will update this page first.

The Contact Form

When you send the contact form, the website emails what you typed to info@thunderbirdsafetyconsulting.ca. The form asks for your name, your organization, your email address, your phone number, what you are looking for and your message. Only your name and email address are required. The email also records the date and time you sent the form.

To keep out spam, the form sends the time the page was opened and how long it was open before you pressed send. The website uses those two numbers only for its spam check and does not include them in the email.

The website also limits how many messages one connection can send in an hour. To count them, it keeps a short record of a scrambled code (a hash) made from your IP address, never the address itself. Each entry counts for one hour, and entries older than that are cleared the next time anyone sends the form.

The form sets no cookies. When you press send, your browser keeps a copy of what you typed in its session storage, on your own device, so the fields can be filled in again if the message does not go through. Your browser removes that copy when the message is sent or when you close the tab.

What You Send Us

When you send the contact form, email us, call, or complete the intake questionnaire, you give us information about your company and its safety program, and the contact details of the person we are dealing with. We use it to answer you, recommend a package, prepare a quote and, if you engage us, to do the work. We do not sell it. We share it only with those who help us deliver or administer the engagement, where you ask us to, or where the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep the records of an engagement as business records for as long as we are required to keep them and for as long as they are needed to support the work. If your company does not engage us, we delete your questionnaire answers and contact-form messages when you ask.

Your Choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@thunderbirdsafetyconsulting.ca.
