Where We Work

Bella Coola, in Nuxalk territory.

Thunderbird Safety Consulting Inc. is a British Columbia company based in Bella Coola. We offer our services to employers across the province.

How We Work

A fractional safety manager, in two phases.

Two Phases

Phase 1 sets the program up with the manual, the forms, the implementation guide and the first orientation session. Phase 2 is ongoing support: an annual program review, training matrix oversight, report upkeep and advisory help.

Exception Reporting

Where we build management reporting, it lists only what is falling short: overdue action items, expired tickets, missed inspections and open incident follow-ups. An empty report means nothing it tracks is overdue.

Inside the Software You Already Use

If you run Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or SiteDocs, we set up your program inside it under access you grant. You keep ownership of the account and the data. With no software yet, you start on paper and PDF forms and can move to software later without redoing the program.

Plain Language

We call the gap analysis a safety program wellness check. It measures your program against COR or SAFE Companies and gives you a written deficiency report and a prioritized action list. The wellness check is part of the Certification-Ready and Management System packages.

The packages put these phases into practice.

Who It Is For

Small and medium employers.

We build programs for forestry, construction, remote and coastal operations, and Indigenous-community employers.

Each program is sized to the company. As a rough guide, Essential typically fits 1–10 workers, Certification-Ready 11–49 and Management System 50 or more. The intake questionnaire settles the recommendation.

What We Will Not Do

Before you hire us, here is what you should not expect.

  • Guarantee compliance. The manual supports your compliance and your certification effort. Your company stays responsible for running the program day to day.
  • Paste your logo on a template. We write your manual for your operation.
  • Run an hourly meter on package work. We quote each package at a fixed price after the intake questionnaire.

Start with the Intake Questionnaire

It takes about ten minutes, and there is no obligation. We review your answers and come back with a recommended package and a fixed-price quote.
