Your program is lined up with SEBASE, one of the audit streams used for SAFE Companies certification.
SAFE Companies is the certification program for BC forestry.
The BC Forest Safety Council describes SAFE Companies as BC’s forestry safety-certification program. The forest sector created it as a prequalification requirement for bidding on forestry work in BC. See the BC Forest Safety Council page (checked November 2026).
The BC Forest Safety Council uses four audit streams: IOO, ISEBASE, SEBASE and BASE. Which one applies depends on the size of your company.
Companies submit annual audits to meet their SAFE and COR requirements, so one audit serves both.
The Certification-Ready package includes a gap analysis against COR or SAFE Companies, and we recommend which one fits your industry and your client contracts. A manual supports compliance. It does not guarantee certification, and you remain responsible for running your program.
