Funding
Paying for your safety program.
If you plan to apply to a funding program, here is how our fees fit with it. We quote package fees up front, and every fee is owed whether or not any funding is approved.
How Our Fees Work
What to know before you apply.
- We quote package work at a fixed price after the intake questionnaire, so you know the fee before the work starts.
- Every fee is owed whether or not a funding application is approved.
- Grant funds can pay our fees only where a program allows it, and only the funder can say whether it does.
How It Works
Three steps if you plan to use funding.
-
Get a Fixed-Price Quote
Request the intake questionnaire. We come back with a recommended package and a fixed-price quote, so you know the fee before you apply anywhere.
-
Check with the Funder
Read the program’s own rules, or ask the funder, to find out whether you qualify and whether our fees are an eligible cost. Only the funder can confirm either.
-
You Decide
Whether to apply is up to you. Any application is your organization’s own, and our quote stays the same whatever the funder decides.
Where to Look
Four funding programs to look into.
Here is what each program is for, in general terms. We leave out amounts, deadlines and eligibility rules because each funder sets them and changes them.
| Program | What it supports |
|---|---|
| New Relationship Trust (NRT) | Building business capacity. |
| Aboriginal Financial Institutions (AFIs) | Business development, delivered through regional institutions. |
| BC Employer Training Grant (ETG) | Employee training. |
| Federal Indigenous business programs | Indigenous business growth and community economic development. Examples include the Aboriginal Entrepreneurship Program and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) economic development streams. |
Check the funder’s own website before you plan around a program, and ask the funder whether consulting fees are an eligible cost. Nothing on this page is a promise of funding.
